Established in 2000, China Petroleum Shanghai Instrument Co.,Ltd (CPSIC), in accordance with < Company Law >, is jointly invested by China Petroleum Technology Service Co, Beijing Geology Technology Co (originally, they are under CNPC), and Shanghai Petroleum Instrument Factory. It is, multi-element property right, market mechanism, a limited-liability company which specializes in manufacturing new and high-tech petroleum equipments. The year of 2003 witnessed second restructuring of the company. Now CPSIC, a new and high-tech enterprise is co-invested by China National Logging Corp and management group of CPSIC. Company has a staff of around 60, over 70% of whom are technicians. Since the beginning of 1970s, as an earliest mud logging equipment manufacturer, the company has supplied about 700 general chromatograph represented by model 701 (or 882) products. Entering into the 1990s, to meet the requirements from market, our company developed SDQ 941 PY-GC Mud Logging Equipment and SZL953 Mud Logging Equipment and put them into production. Furthermore, technology cooperation agreements are signed with some large foreign logging companies, such as Halliburton International INC, International Logging Overseas Ltd (U.S.A), and Baker Hughes (U.S.A). With their cooperation, we, one after another, developed SDL 900 China， DLS-CPSIC, DrillByte Mud Logging Equipment. Meanwhile, we, on our own, developed and manufactured CPS 2000 Series: Mud Logging Equipment, and CPS-ZJ Series: Drilling Engineering Instrumentation, making a greater contribution to oil exploration and development in China.
